West Virginia PSC confirms Felman SiMn power rate

West Virginia regulators denied requests to reconsider a favorable April 3 electricity rate ruling for Felman Production on May 14, potentially clearing the last major hurdle to restart the company's 105,000 mt/year silicomanganese plant in New Haven, idled last July.

 USW says Felman plans June restart for West Virginia silicomanganese plant

Felman Production has told the United Steelworkers union it hopes to start production in early June at its idled 105,000 mt/year silicomanganese plant in New Haven, West Virginia, a union official said on May 7.

Felman delays decision on US silicomanganese plant restar

Felman Production is delaying a final decision on the possible restart of its idled 105,000 mt/year silicomanganese plant in New Haven, West Virginia, until regulatory challenges to a favorable April 3 Public Service Commission ruling are resolved, a company spokesman said on May 5.
