Georgian American Alloys, Inc. Announces Personnel Changes At Its Subsidiary Businesses

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Georgian American Alloys, Inc. (“GAA”) announces personnel changes at its subsidiaries, Felman Trading, Inc. (“Felman Trading”) and Felman Production, LLC (“Felman Production”). Felman Trading’s Chief Executive Officer, Vladyslav Mikhyeyev, will be resigning from his position, effective immediately. While Mr. Mikhyeyev will cease handling sales immediately, he will stay on in a consulting role to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities and duties. Mordechai Korf, GAA’s president and CEO, and the Chairman of Felman Trading’s Board of Directors, has been appointed CEO of Felman Trading.

Mr. Korf states, “We thank Vlad for the leadership and vision he has provided Felman Trading with since its founding. He has been an integral part in helping to make Georgian American Alloys a market leader in the ferroalloy industry.” Current GAA team members Mendel Sossonko and Jonathan Brook will lead Felman Trading’s sales efforts on an interim basis. Mr. Sossonko already serves as Sales Director for CC Metals & Alloys, LLC, another GAA subsidiary. Mr. Brook is intimately involved in Felman Trading’s sales and logistics as its Logistics Manager. Yury Mordasov will continue to oversee European sales from his position as Director of the affiliated Swiss trading company, Felman Trading Europe, AG.

In addition, Sergiy Protashchuk has resigned from his position as Financial Manager for Felman Production. “We appreciate Sergiy for all of his hard work with Felman Production over the years, and wish him future success in his next venture,” stated President and CEO, Mordechai Korf. Mr. Korf has tasked GAA’s Mony Bistritzky and Kseniia Bezkrovna to oversee the sourcing of Felman Production’s raw materials on an interim basis.

Of the departures, Mr. Korf stated, “While these types of departures are always difficult, they are also to be expected in growing companies such as ours, and represent an opportunity to continually improve internally as well as strengthen our external alliances with our suppliers and customers. We are especially confident that our current team will continue to provide the high quality service that our customers have come to expect.”
